I called eBay over the Summer about this...the rep claimed that ALL
internet marketplace purchases are now taxed by NJ, regardless of their
classification...but, checked Amazon and they ARE NOT charging tax on
clothing. I have a lot more faith in Ama...
I can't send a note back with a period in it or else I get an
intimidating warning with the note...eBay seemed to want buyers and
sellers to communicate....now, not so much.
