@bonjourami - you provided the correct guidance! I filed the INAD claim,
the seller didn’t reply after 4 days, and eBay refunded me for the full
item. Appreciate your thoughtful responses throughout!
I’ve never had to request an invoice from a seller. If a buyer asks a
seller if combined shipping discounts are available, wouldn’t that
prompt the seller to say “you have to request an invoice for me to

It was the sellers responsibility to send the invoice if they knew I
wanted combined shipping. I should not have to as for it. With 158k
