On a $70 item that is sold in the United States how do you figure sales
tax at $6.41? Buyer payed $ 7.71 shipping. eBay fee of $11 and some
change. I make $66 and then have to pay to ship. Gives me $58 on a $70

There should be no sales tax on an item if you are not a retail outlet.
