The beads are glass. The barrel clasp is original--I put a bit of brass
cleaner on it, that's why it looks shiny. The brass piece does not open.

Thank you for your time. That's part of the reason I thought it could be
fake--I couldn't find a similar one online. Oh well, at least I can
honestly say it's "rare!"
