So im closing ebay account due to many problems recently, i have abit of money on hold, what happens to the money if i close account today?

First time selling an item for local collection beforeSo the buyer has paid and when they arrive i input the code they have or scan qr codeBut is there any chance they can reverse the payment via ebay at all? Is it risky?
