The item in question is food and a basic necessity. Here in my state
there is a law that any such item cannot be priced above 10% after a
declared emergency. Maybe retailers should follow what some are doing in
Denmark: first item $8, second one $80....
I have been reporting price gouging to eBay for several days and all
items reported are still active. Nothing is being done. One item I
normally buy for $7.79 is being sold as of now for $55. My next step is
contacting the state attorney for Californ...
