What happens if I get scammed by buyer?

Hello everyone,I have 2 orders from same customer over $3000 Is there anyway to make sure this order is legit? Or what happens If I send the orders and Ebay decides this buyer was scammer?Will I get any loss? or ebay will be securing my funds?
