Why can't eBay do like Amazon and have sellers collect payments after the items have been shipped and are in transit? I've been using eBay for over 20 years and it's getting so I will not shop on eBay unless I cannot find what I'm looking for elsewhe...

Why can a seller get a tracking number before the item even reaches the courier? Once that happens you cannot cancel the order. Case in point! I ordered an item and immediately it was listed as shipped with a tracking number, But I waited for 2 weeks...
