I have been trying to change my user name for months. Every time I try, it says system error please try again later. This has got to be the longest and worst system error EVER!! Any suggestions?

Just received notification send Paypal. Payment has been received. Login eBay and there's nothing pending for shipment. I checked my item that listed as sold on PayPal and there's one less then there was earlier but no sale showing on eBay
