If I ship my item to the buyer, can they cancel their payment so that I don't get my money but they get the item?

I have two dresses that I listed for $200-250 and within the first hour I had offers for $300. They left in their notes to text or email them. I feel this is 99% sure a scam. Just wanted to check and see what others thought.
