Thanks everyone! I feel better informed about making offers and the
guidelines to use. There was so much useful, interesting information
provided. I appreciate everyone's input.
When an item is up for bid, but also has a best offer tab, can anyone
please tell me what rule of thumb to go by if I want to make an offer?
Do I offer more than the bid price, the same as the bid price, or less
than the bid price?
Is it ever proper to make an offer when the seller doesn't have a "Best
Offer" on a listing? I don't want to offend anyone, so I would like to
know if this is ever permitted. Thanks.
I had to argue with a seller who didn't send a complete order. I did
receive the full order eventually. But it was an unpleasant experience.
I really prefer not to leave feedback in this case. Do I really need to?
Thanks for the help. I believe I was told it wasn't really correct for
buyers to do this. I am watching an item that has a flat price and I
wondered if I could make an offer, but I didn't want to offend the
seller. It isn't an auction item.
