As the seller, I could not complete a transaction for an item which sold
for $150. Feeling awful, I wanted to refund the buyer the full amount,
plus an additional $50. I thought it was the right thing to do, as I
felt awful. Is this allowed?

eBay will not allow for the refund to be greater than the full payment,
