I do not like the new View requiring me to scroll several times to see
when auction ends, current bid, and shipping costs. Another case of "if
it aint broke then don't fix it!"
When I have the highest bid at auction close then I cheerfully authorize
the required payment to complete a transaction. I am not at all happy to
authorize payment for an incomplete transaction. Seems the the next
logical step for ebay is to require ...
In a store I never pay for something that has not been offered for a
defined price. Why should I do that with an ebay "make offer"? Why
should I authorizing access to my money when there is no commitment to a
transaction?
I just now bailed out of a "make offer". Why should I trust eBay with
pre-authorization to pay for something? Ebay doesn't trust me; I don't
trust eBay! My mother taught me better than that.
I have been purchasing HO model trains on ebay for many years. For one
of my favorite searches that I do often, I scan about 25 pages or 4000+
listings. Now there is no searchable category for HO and I will not
review all the listings in other model ...
