There are way better ways to handle this then the way you did, while I
agree that buyers should have to provide proof of a defective item it

If you want to ensure you get ALL emails, especially from Ebay and
Paypal and any other platform you use then add that email address to
your contacts so it will no longer filter them to the spam.
