iPad app will not load on iOS 12.5.4

cannot last ad ebay app on my iPad with iOS 12.5.4. Starts to load then dies when 3/4 done

Me too!! Looks like the app developer cocked up big time I checked compatibility for the update and it was saying fine for ios11.....failed initially so deleted app to then restore from the cloud to hit the same issue. There’s now s thread they’ve published saying needs iOS 13 and above to update/use the app . No option I can find to reload the older version that will still work. There will be thousands of us screwed over from easy access on older devices. Their loss.......

The Apple App Store is giving people the wrong version. Please contact Apple support about this so they can look into it.

Spoken to Apple support in depth they’re saying it’s the app developers issue as they have the “toll” on it? It’s down to the app developer to change settings so we can access the oldest available version from the cloud back ups.
