SSL & Nsurlerror domain -1200

I downloaded the newest version of the eBay app, and I get constant “SSL error” that a connection can not be made. It will also say there is an EBN Error Domain. I cannot log into my account or browse on eBay. Please help!

I had the same problem last week, it worked as it should for a couple days before doing the exact same thing again and is currently not working right now. eBay really needs to get onto this.

I got it to work tonight by downloading the newest IOS update on my iPhone. Try that if you aren’t using the latest update.

I’ve been seeing the same thing for a couple of days.

It does this even when I’m logged out of the app and try to look at the ‘Categories’ menu or ‘Deals’ section. It’s happening on Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Same here, I have deleted and downloaded the app several times and still get the SSL error. Hello EBay ??? Any fixes to this problem? I run my business through the app and really need to get this working

Clearly there is an issue on their end. I contacted eBay this morning and they say there is no issues at all I have to troubleshoot my phone!!

I’ve used the app heavily over the last couple of weeks, and it suddenly started to do this yesterday.  Nothing has changed on my end.

The symptoms appear on any Wi-Fi hotspot (including my home Wi-Fi) and when using mobile data (UK 3G/4G).  I’ve removed the app and reinstalled it several times, along with force restarting my iPhone (7s Plus).

It’s definitely something at the eBay end.

Same thing here. Happened about a week ago and it fixed itself (they did something) and now it’s back. App works on my iphone on same network but not on my iPad.  I can go on the website from my iPad ok but the app does not work. Seems an app problem.
