Glitchy barcode scanner iphone 13 plus/ios 15

Anyone else having an issue with the barcode scanner on the ebay app? Whenever I tap the camera icon to scan a barcode, it will “flick” twice like its taking 2 photos and then on the third “flick” it will finally scan. Really annoying and time wasting. I’m using the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Yes!!! Same happening with my iPhone 13 Pro. The guy at the AT&T store said the phone is rotating through the different lenses to determine the best one to use… idk if he knows what he’s talking about… but I agree. Very frustrating and time wasting… I’m considering getting 12 pro… and selling my 13 if it’s not fixed soon…

and still to this day too.  Also I know someone with the larger 12 model that is also doing this.

Thanks for all the reports here. Could you please do an iOS screen recording and then use the barcode scanner and email us the video iosfeedback@ebay.com we are not sure why some devices would be struggling with barcodes and we will look into it.
