Did you mean:

Congratulations! You were just named CEO of eBay.. What Would you Change First?

I would put full emphasis on true platform sales growth which in turn brings a more honest final value revenue. At the same time I would dismantle the Pay-to-Play scams that alienate the ones that help make it all possible. The transition would have to work in tandem.

Yeah, I do not worry too much on here about bad customers because mostly in 15 years they have been great. Few problems. Just do not like those instantaneous I am going to my credit card folks when I have free auto accept returns, no questions asked, send it back here is your refund.

all that competition It all sounds inevitable, but it's not. They're not even predating on each other, they're predating their own system, the little pieces that make it run. Us.

Depending on information that would be available to a CEO of ebay: I would look at sectioning into various companies eBay used, vintage, and new products.

For sure a complete section for authorized dealers of manufactured items would be looked into.

Such could allow a survival rate when thing fail due to laws< as well as the whims of people.

I would make all of the unwritten rules about selling to much to fast apply on the front end and limit sellers from listing beyond what is allowed rather than let them list all that they want then if they sell to much slap .them with a permanent ban for undisclosed reasons

and I would give the ebay board moderators a real job that did not involve needlessly moving posts to a different forum

Well, in my neck of the woods a buyer is probably going to look for the best price on anything they buy whether the thing is promoted, demoted, exploded, or the price is bloated, which is what many of these promoted have to be.

HI!

If I were able I would run the customer service phone calls for the USA.  I would hire people that want jobs working at home. Like the ones on SSI, SSD, Mothers/Dads w/ babies, ect.. I would have several accounts for friend to call & check how they are doing. I would hire also hire up people to help resolve issues the 1st group could not. You would get a American or someone going thru the process of becoming one. People in America would get help & answers over the phone without waiting long. Also they must never hang up on anyone or be rude😊
