I reviewed the documents on those pages in detail and the user agreement. How can my "Sell similar" listing be in violation of an already existing listings that people are actively selling. I copy the title word for word and still have violations.
Why can't that list be released? if all the sellers had that list we could not have to engage CS everytime we have a listing violation and use up their time for a task that could be avoided?
@michigan_tactical - Laws and regulations regarding these items can change frequently so a list of words isn't something I can provide you. Just ensure that the product is not considered an assault weapon accessory and that it complies with our policy help page.

VAT charge
For orders 13-07882-92130, 23-07884-89803, 07-07901-14995
ebay charged me VAT 19%
when i received the items at the post office of my country they charged me again VAT 19%
when i chat with ebay support i was told to paid the VAT of my country when i receive the items and ebay will refund me the extra VAT, so i did and send ebay the Receipt, then ebay told me to send a photo of the package, i took a photo of the package and i send it, then ebay told me that the Receipt i have send is an Invoice, while is writing clearly Receipt.
This is a cheat from ebay and it's illegal.
I waste 3 hours to get the extra VAT back and i got nothing.
I follow all the steps that ebay support asked me and at the end nothing.
Also, the VAT law of my country is VAT 5% for books and magazines, that i have ordered.
There is no respect to buyers from ebay and from today i stop buying from your platform.
What is your excuse?
Sorry you're running into this @mi-294 we'd hate to see you go! I wish I could help but I can't go into the specifics of these orders here. You'll want to reach out to CS as soon as possible to see what happened and get all the details. Thanks for your time!

Can ebay change their practice of telling buyers "You're item has Shipped!" as soon as label is created? As a buyer and a seller, these notifications are misleading. It isn't accurate until after the carrier scans it in. We had angry buyers rail at us because they kept insisting we told them and item had shipped. I finally took a screen shot for our buyer showing his item under Waiting to be Shipped on our seller hub.
As buyers, we were confused when we didn't see any tracking 2 business days after we received a message that our items had shipped. It's a simple fix that can prevent a lot of angry and/or confused ebay users.
Ty!

velvet@ebay: "it's the number of sales a seller has completed on eBay."
Some sellers have multiple selling accounts. I take it you mean the number of sales a seller has completed on ebay with that specific account, not ALL accounts...is that correct?
It is per account @my-cottage-books-and-antiques, it's not a combined total of all accounts a seller may have.

Hey @cstpos if you printed a label it should remove the item from awaiting shipment, is that not happening on your end?

And again, for the stores team, it would be nice to see some tutorials/tips/best practices for the new features....maybe some examples of seller created store videos....Could you pass that on to the Stores Team?
And also, now that out Store Home page looks better and is more informative, it would be nice to see ebay doing more to direct traffic to the home pages (maybe from the listing page, giving more prominence to "see seller's store" than "see sellers other items"), and it would be really great to have more granular tracking, so we know whether buyers are coming to the home page or not....
Hi @my-cottage-books-and-antiques - agreed that more tutorials and how-tos would be great! I've actually pitched that several times. I think I'm making traction too - is there a specific area that you think would be most beneficial to start with? I know that's really broad but many times I can get a bit more attention on something if I have a specific thing to suggest.
Last time I pitched a general 'here's what stores are' and I don't think it grabbed them. A tutorial on video maybe?
Also agreed on granular traffic reports. I've heard rumors they're aware and working on something but it's all rather mysterious right now and nothing has been officially announced so I'm still in the dark. :C

Speaking for myself only. When I create a shipping label it is dated the date I will be shipping the item. While 99% are printed the same day I ship, the labels I create on Sunday are dated for Monday or Tuesday [if a holiday is involved].
So the issue you describe I've never had. My carrier does scan the same day they get the package, we worked through that years ago on how important that action was.

velvet@ebay I understand that. But since the Owner has not replied and not willing to reply , should the seller still have a violation on their account? The Vero Owner is not replying to eBay or to the seller...
So any Vero owner can just say violation but does not provide any information and that's the end of it?
I believe that in the past when I worked with the Vero Team if the owner did not provide a response after the seller and eBay contacted them... the violation was removed from the seller's account. I can be wrong and my memory might be playing tricks on me since this goes back several years, LOL

If you aren't going to train your current CS agents can you just fire them like you did with your US support? Despite all the training you supposedly give them they don't know the policies. I shouldn't have to train your agents on how to do their jobs. I get that corporations like to exploit overseas workers, but at least have the decency to train them.

Not sure if you got my tag. The attached discussion has the list of missing US makers and publishers of postcards.
I also added another issue I have encountered.
There is an item specific "continent" . The drop down list has an error. Central America is not a continent. At least it wasn't when I went to school and google doesn't think it is either.
I'm sorry @postcardcountry! I'm not sure why, but I didn't get that tag. I'll review the post and get your list over to them; along with the Continent/Central America call out. Thank you!

OMG that is not true. You simply don't like the answers you are getting. I know I've tried to help you on the other threads you've been on as have other sellers.
The CSRs on the community chat are ALL hard working people. That work tirelessly in trying to get us the information we need. They don't however write the policies or implement them.
I know you are upset but this isn't the answer for you.

And to add to this - the VeRO list seems to change frequently - I've had items I had listed for months all of a sudden get a VeRO violation. And it took MONTHS for them to respond to me over the violation.

Hello- Is there an estimate on when the item specifics will stop randomly dropping and making adjustments? I ask because I have all categories filled out, including suggested only. Yet every few days something gets "dropped" that was previously entered by me. Then I can see it gets noted as missing info. I make the changes then a few days later "poof" it goes away.
I understood that there was a period of adjustments but it's been weeks now and still this continues in the doll and doll clothing categories. Thank you.
jasmen@ebay Hello, tagging you as my question was posted at the start but never received a reply, and the hour is almost over. Did I ask an incorrect question? Thank you....
