Sold Tonka Truck, shipped it, buyer stated it arrived damaged..Then shipped it Back, new parts gone ?

I sold a Tonka Pickup(about 55 years old) restored with new parts. Shipped in good faith to the Buyer. Buyer contacted me thru ebay messaging, and sent a photo showing a slightly dented tailgate.

I responded directly, and offered to repair the tailgate, purchase a new one. painted & shipped ( no charge)...my final solution was to have the complete truck sent back, I then could repair, and ship back.

The next thing i recieved was that the buyer went directly to Ebay CS, and recieved the okay to be re-imbursed..

Well, when i recieved the item, the 4-new wheels/tires were removed..

I reported that to the buyer & ebay...sent photos, etc..

So, has anyone been thru this ??

Thousands have. File Fraud Complaints with the Postal Inspector and their Local Police Department.

"Those who enter the arena unarmed or unprepared are quickly dispatched."
