How do you report items to eBay which violate copyrights? There are a lot of bootleg items on eBay but the existing reporting choices aren't relevant to the item types. For example, unlicensed 3D-printed items of copyrighted properties.

You report them to the company that owns the copyright. You reporting to ebay would be ignored as ebay has no idea if you are an expert or just a malicious competitor.

Well some items are obvious, like the many 3D-printed "models" from Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, etc being sold on eBay, and you KNOW those people don't have an official license for selling such items.

They are not obvious to me nor may they be obvious to ebay so my advice stands: report them to the copyright holder.

EBay addresses counterfeits of all kinds through the VERO program, which the rights-holders register for. If a VERO member reports a listing as counterfeit eBay immediately removes it. That's why it's far more effective to report it to the rights holder.
If eBay removed listings solely on the say-so of other members it would quickly become a blunt weapon to remove the competition.

Do you own the copyrights? If not, then this isn't your issue to deal with....

Right, like if you see somebody beating a child it's not your issue to speak up about. Classic human mentality.

Um, so you are attempting to equate physical harm to a child, or any human being, as the same thing as YOU deciding that a seller who you do not know, doesn't have permission to sell an item?
This isn't your issue as you don't own the copyrights that you are getting so worked up about....

Yep, just keep looking the other way and pretend it doesn't exist. Geez this planet really blows.

Then perhaps you could find another one to live on.

First Sale Doctrine..
Look that up..
You do NOT have to be licensed to sell an item in your possession that you legally own.
The end.
