Catagories missing

Did anybody else notice that the toy and hobbies catagories are missing military, science fiction, and monsters from the line. If this is the new e bay set-up, I don't have time to look through thousands of listing to find items to buy.

I just did a couple of searches by Character name using Toys and Hobbies.  On the search results page in the left hand column there are filters for Robots Monsters and Space toys and Action Figures and Accessories. There were also results in Models and Kits.

Military items could probably be accomplished by putting identifiers in your search  Aircraft/Plane, Car, Truck, Tank etc. then checking the categories in the left column.

Same thing in the Rocketry (now deleted) and Spacecraft categories.  Combined into one which means I now have to look at thousands of items (plastic models) I have zero interest in.  Has drastically reduced the amount of time I spend browsing.  Really a stupid change.

Have you entered one or two key words and used the search function? I used to browse by category until eBay took my categories away, but I actually find doing a search to be much faster. The only thing is that this method requires changing to or ensuring that the search is for "all categories", selected immediately to the right of the search bar.

There is often no need to look at results you are not interested in.  There are many possible ways to see the items you are interested in and avoid the ones you are not.

The same has happened in the Doll and Bear Categories and the Train Categories. Ebay has apparently "improved" everything! It's a nightmare now trying to search through subcategories. And try to find a way to complain to Ebay! LMAO!
