Folded, this measures ABOUT 6 inches x 2 inches. Opened it measures about 14 inches . The extra 2 inches has what appears to be gum. I'm guessing it is a wrapper. It has a 3 pfnennig (Scott 56). Is it indeed a wrapper? If so, what would it have wraped? Can anyone translate the old german print?

Yes, t's a postal stationery wrapper for printed matter (newspapers etc.).
Text: "One sheet with 10 pieces costs 33 pfennigs" and "Cut through here".
Obviously 1875 issue (Michel # S2)
