Stamps Germany

I have an old Germany stamp with what appears to be a pre-cancel of an old telephone receiver.  Perhaps an overprint.  Probably a local issue but I've never seen one before.  Does anyone know about this ?

It would it much easier if you can scan it, or at least identify it by Scott catalogue number. An "old stamp" could mean anything from 1860s to 1960's. ); >)

I appreciate your thoughts and will do just that. I am currently away from the collection but I believe it is from the 1930s. The phone is so well centered I believe it was an overprint or pre-cancel. I have been active with the German collection for years and have never seen anything else like it.

Germany did not use precancels. It's rather a part of slogan machine cancel.
