Please post value of pre-stamped envelopes, first day issue...

Hello! I am wondering if these pre-stamped envelopes have any value to collectors? Thanks!

The first day cover is worth around 50 cents to a dollar. The other envelopes are worth just face value. Add the appropriate postage and use them on their mail.

I have one more question about Ebay chat boards... now I am receiving a notification every time there is a new post on this helpful board.  Since my inquiry was specific to this one area, (and I am a crafter not a stamp collector!)  could you please tell me how to stop receiving notifications each time someone posts?  Thanks so much, vintage_crafter

Sorry  - I can't help you with that one. These Ebay boards are really crummy.

Go to the avatar icon in the very top right corner of this page and go to settings. After another page or two load you will find a place where you have many choices of how to be notified by eBay. make your chouices there. If anyone can ever tell me what  "push" is I'd be grateful. LOL

It's becuase this is a seller group, and the default setting when you join a group is to subscribe to the notifications for the group.

If you don't want to get notifications (I don't blame you) then you can go to the main page for the group, with this link and then:

https://community.ebay.com/t5/The-Stamp-Board/gp-p/TheStampBoard

1. Click on the Options v drop-down list.
2. Choose Unsubscribe from the list.
   • Or, you can Leave this group, if you don't think you will be continuing to participate in the group.

Lacemaker3 - That's really interesting information. I've participated in eBay Stamp Chat since 1998, then along came this forum, and we tried to make it a continuation of the old chat board. It didn't really work well, now you have pointed out that it's part of the Seller Groups, which was never the intention of those of us who wanted to continue "Stamps" chat! Maybe that's why it's so pathetic, I wonder when it was lumped into the Sellers category?

I think the seller group thing is more recent than the group as a whole. We used to be in categories, but they decided to move us for some reason.
