Bill and I got our hair cut today from our friend. We also went to the store to pick up some groceries.

Adrian,

I have had pets and farm animals most of my life. I know how you must feel. I still remember all dogs I have had each still have a place in my heart.

How is everyone doing?

I had such a surge of energy this summer! I feel better than I have for years? I actually have Drs. asking what I am taking that has helped my health so much?

I am winding down a little now but what a wonderful summer it has been.

Dogs are one link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a glorious afternoon is to be back in life, where doing nothing was not boring it was just peace.

People can learn a lot from a dog, every one I have had taught me about living each day with unbridled exuberance and joy, about seizing the moment and following my heart. They taught me to appreciate the simple things, a walk in the woods, a fresh snowfall, a nap in a shaft of winter sunlight. And as they grew old and achy, they taught me about optimism in the face of adversity. Mostly, they taught me about friendship and selflessness and, above all else, unwavering loyalty. A dog is the only thing that will love you more than their own life.

Roy -- I agree about the descriptions of your pet dogs! Praise God for your added strength and energy this summer!

I am thankful for my new computer -- although, I have a learning curve.

Update on our neighbor-Nancy. She is with her son and DIL in Michigan. She is stronger. Prayers continue for her salvation.

Roy, thank you for the kind words! I agree with everything you said about dogs. I can remember very few times in my life that I didn't have a dog.

We got Molly back yesterday from the Crematory in a beautiful wood carved box. She's with me again.

Oh Adrian!! I'm so sorry about Mollie!! You cry all you need to, precious one! Grief is real and God is there to comfort you as long as you need the comfort!! Bless your sweet heart!!!

Roy, I'm so grateful to God for giving you such energy! I enjoyed those sweet things you said about dogs.

Last night, it rained and stormed and rained more! This morning, there was flooding in areas of Phoenix and surrounding cities.

My Uncle Norman and Aunt Susan celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary today.

Bill had therapy on his left leg today. Please pray for him.

I was able to talk a walk this morning. Please continue to pray for Bill's left foot. He had therapy, but I think it will take time to heal.

Prayer request for our friend-Robin. She is struggling with many issues right now.

Hi there, my sweet Carole & all of you dear ones!

Still busy here but so happy! Going out of town tomorrow til Monday. Going to Pastor John Duncan's wife's memorial. Son Todd is going w/ me & we are staying at son Steve's & DIL Tias place. Please pray for God to bless the whole week- end, especially for John. THANKS!!
