Jan -- It is so good to hear from you. I am glad the family is doing well. Finances -- yes, I understand. Answered Prayer: Bill went to the doctor today about the foot problems he is having. The doctor put his foot in a cast.

Re: Prayer Request Thread

Good Morning!

Happy to see that all is well for everyone.

Money problems.  Yep, I am there, as well.  It is hard to live from Payday to almost Payday.  I NEVER thought I would end up in the situation that we are in, but it can happen, even if you think you are prepared.  I try not to worry, but it is hard living on the edge all of the time.  I have tried to reduce the stress in my life and I know this makes it difficult but I try anyway.

Melanie and the kids and some more of us went to an indoor water park the other day.  First, we had to make a quick stop at K-Mart to return something and I fell flat on my face.  I do this frequently, usually because I trip or if I am standing, my heart is not strong enough to return the blood to my head and I pass out and drop.  This time, I tripped.  Sore, but fine.  At the park, they had big, curly water slides.  Problem was they were three stories tall, which meant climbing three stories of stairs each time.  I am still having issues with my hip and that was a bit painful as I went 5 times, a couple on a double tube with Alli.  On my first trip, they said I had to take off my glasses (then I cannot see much), and I immediately fell over a step I did not see and put a long scratch down my leg.  Nothing serious, but I did not want them to see me bleeding in their pools but I finally got it stopped.  It was a nice day and we spent the night in a nice hotel where veterans can get a free room twice a month and we had two rooms.

Roy - Glad to hear about the new grandbaby.  Also, the improvement in your health.  I remember when I first came here, we had ribbons for a new heart for you.  I remember when you could barely do anything.  My heart is still doing well but I need Plavix and 24-hour nitro.  When I lost all the weight, I lost a lot of the meds I had to take.

Adrian - There are sad stories where we learn lessons, even after a huge loss.  I remember when I asked you about Tyler and you wrote his story.  As sad as it was, sometimes we need something like this to realize just how important our faith is to us.  I cannot imagine losing a child because it is not supposed to happen that way.  But, when we have faith, we can know that Tyler came here to do what he was to do and then got to go home to be with the Father.  Without this faith, I can not imagine ever getting through it.

Time to go.  Have a most beautiful weekend.

Philippians 3:13-14(KJV)

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Lord,
I ask you to be with all my friends now.
I believe you will hear this prayer it is from my heart.
I have faith in you to heal my friends.
Nourish them in their time of suffering and comfort them with your presence.
. . . Amen . . . photo thmysign.jpg

Re: Prayer Request Thread

Jan! So great to see you posted!! I always miss you but know you are busy. I'll be praying about your finances. The poor are blessed because it makes them rich in faith. I have to live by faith, but have come to appreciate it. It takes time. This is fairly new to you, if you always had abundance in the past. Love you!!

I'm hoping the Bella/ "other Jan " thing is solved. What delightful ladies for sure!!

Watching church online today. Moving has exhausted me. 🙂 Love to you all!

Jesus said,
Come to Me...
Learn from Me...
I will give you rest.

Re: Prayer Request Thread

Good Afternoon All!

God's Beautiful Blessings to you!

I just received the neatest email, Thank You Jesus!

I have a Keurig Coffee Brewer and I love it, if any of you have one you will know what I mean. I buy the Coffee for it online at the Keurig site. They sent me an email that said I have been such a loyal customer they are sending me a brand new Brewer! This one does a few more things than the one I have. This one is called a Keurig Brewer 2.0. It's not even on the market yet!

I am not one of those people who wins thing or get free things so I was very surprised. Then I thought, this could be a scam, maybe someone stole Keurig's email and is sending those emails to everyone. So, I called Keurig and they told me it is totally legit! Leave it to me to be the kind of person who gets all excited over a free Coffee Brewer!Man Very Happy

You will be fine Lynn, money is weak  compared to who dwells within you, so I'm sure between you and Him it will be work out in your favor.

Jan, I have so many stories to share with you. I'll think of a way to share them with you, also, I have something for you.

Roxie, l go fishing for the people who do not believe, what credit would it be for me to fish for the ones that do believe ?

Re: Prayer Request Thread

Carole, is it storming where you are? We are having lots of rain (which I love) and the wind last night was terrible! Today it's just raining. We get rain so seldom I just love it when it just rains, no wind.
