I had some good news today!  Mitch has been two days, 48 hours with no bleeding whatsoever!! This hospital must be extremely bad for us. I had surgery many years ago and the Dr. told me probably no more that 3 days in the hospital. I was in there  3 weeks and had to plead desperately to get to go home then! Worst case of Staph infection my Dr. said  he said he had ever seen. They say a hospital is the easiest place to get an infection. They say a hospital is the easiest place to get an infection and I definitely beleive it!

Jaime -- So good to see you again. I am so thankful that you have a good job! The weather will change -- for us it will be HOT -- for you wonderful! Thank you for your prayers for Katie.

Marylou -- So happy to have you join in the prayers. This is a powerful praying place!! Prayers for you as well.

Roxie -- I have a son-in-love, Carissa's daddy, Cheri's first husband. He has been a joy! I don't know what went wrong -- but Wayne (as I affectionately call him) is a huge blessing! His wife had us over for Christmas dinner at her house -- ALL of us.

Adrian -- Prayers continue for your health and Mitch's recovery.

ANSWERED PRAYER:

Cheri has permanent custody of her step-daughter Katie -- with visiting privileges for Katie's mom.

Missionary Wally has a clean scan from his throat chancer.

PRAYER REQUEST:

Please pray for our neighbor Al. He is very frail and weak. He and his wife are snowbirds and will be leaving (driving) to Chicago the first part of May.

Sweet Jamie, the way I see it, it's sin that caused all the trouble & all people became sinners in need of forgiveness and redemption. So when I say He died for "jerks", (I was quoting Lynn's word), I meant He died for sinners... all of us, so that He could forgive us and make us new creatures in Christ and take us to live with Him forever, if we believe in Him and receive this free gift. So, He died and rose for us and will return for us too. His word says He did this on the cross "for the joy that was set before Him". We are that joy! 🙂 He bought us back at a great price on the cross! Thank You Jesus!!!

Jamie, was it Canada where you live? I can't remember... Getting old. 🙂 But I can't imagine living in that much snow for so long! Lynn is going thru it too. God be with you all!!

Carole, I have a great DIL. But my exes were stinkers, & I can see I was too. God had me follow His word on my terrible attitude about them. I was desperate to follow His lead.., the Matthew 5:44 thing, and their has been growing fruit ever since!!! I was set free from bitterness, they saw the example, God softened their hearts and the kids have watched us all grow ever since! Everyone is still in amazement! My mom & dad, same story. Their is nothing greater than our God and His thoughts & ways!

I praise God for the court decision about Katie!!! WOW! And the mom is not left out. Perhaps God will work mightily in her life to bring her to Him! Please tell Cheri & Katie that I am so very happy for them!

That's great about Wally! PTL! Prayers for your dear neighbor Al.

Good morning!

My hyacinths are just peeking out of the ground and I still have a few snow piles.

Had a wonderful Easter dinner at Melanie & Bob's.  SIL, Gloria brought up my 87-year-old MIL and we had a big gathering.  Even Melanie's ex showed up (invited).  We played some cards after.  The day was beautiful and it made it up to 70 which was a first for up here this year.

I have PT today.  Have to work off what I ate yesterday!
