Good morning!
Adrian - Praying for Mitch. I have had c.diff twice now. Antibiotics will bring it on as it stays in your body. I know what it is like to basically move into the bathroom.
Roxie - Ray is such a special person. Here is the video. (Should you ever want to share videos, go to the video, copy the address on the top bar. Come back here and click on the little film reel to the right of the tree, above and add your info and finish with Insert Video and it will appear.)
As usual, nothing is going on here. I have PT this afternoon and Melanie & I are going shopping downstate tomorrow for mostly Easter items. She always has a big dinner and this one should be interesting. Her MIL is bringing a ham (she lost her husband recently) and two or three kids (she has many) and I guess Melanie has aways had the kids invite their dad, as well. This time he said yes. He likes a special stuffing, so when they were married, I would always make his own little casserole of the kind he likes. Melanie asked him if he was coming for sure because I was making 'his' stuffing and she said he grinned ear-to-ear.
It is still cold here, 29 and the snow is slowly melting. We have areas near the river that is flooded and over roads. Luckily, we are not affected. A friend downstate has been without power for several days and we have a couple of friends who have had flooded basements.
Have a most beautiful day!

Thank you all for the prayers!!!!
Lynn, they say his c Diff was brought on by the Chemo. He has had it 3 times since the Chemo. This time very, very bad. Bleeding so badly he has to have a transfusion. Don't know how long he will be in the hospital this time! Sort of bad for me too as we live way out in the country and I've been spending so much time alone.
The Dr. said the C Diff is quite contagious. I sure hope I don't get it!

Adrian -- Prayers for Mitch. Prayers for you NOT to get it.
Roxie -- The tooth that was pulled went well. It is healing.
Thank you for your prayers for Katie.
Lynn -- I will be checking out the link you gave. Thank you.

Just a quickie. I am so glad that you were able to see Ray's video. He has an entire series of dvds on a trip through Israel and so much information. Fortunately, I was able to make a set of VCR tapes that were close-captioned so Roxie's little mom got to see them, as well. When you are done with them, it literally feels like you have sand in your sandals and could probably pass a lie detector test asking if you had ever traveled to Israel. Many churches have sets to lend.
I know very little about computers, so when I find out how to do something, I try to share.
Chris will be happy with 'his' stuffing for Easter dinner. He is a jerk, but he should be able to have a holiday meal with his kids.

Good morning, Silverteem and friends of the prayer request.
I felt it important that I get back in touch with all of you.
Adrian; allow me to extend my thoughts and prayers for Mitch. This is been a most difficult time for him and we all wish for his return to health and stability.
Silverteem; I extend my prayers to your Katie as well.
Roxtox; I have been thinking of you. Your support for all of us is one of the undeniable strengths of the Prayer Request thread.
Lynn; thank you for posting the beautiful image file. I am thankful that someone posted the reason for this day and why our Lord made the ultimate sacrifice.
Every morning on the bus, I close my eyes to take a moment and pray that he helps me through another day of work. I acknowledge how lucky I am to have both the job and the generous employer that I do.

Hello Roxtox.
Thank you for your kind response.
It has been such a long, harsh winter here. We have reached five full months with snow on the ground. The light at the end of the tunnel is in sight, though. Spring will be truly here next week.
You mentioned that Jesus died for jerks. Could we replace that next to last word with 'because of'?
Perhaps we could also say he returned to us 'in spite of' them. 😉
