Jans Flowers are called Grape Hyacinth. My Great Grandmother had them all over her yard. She taught me the name of almost every flower that exists. That has been so many years ago I only remember a few.

Good morning!
Keeping all prayer requests.
We had grape hyacinths at the house where I grew up. I always liked them.
Busy day today. Need to finish the laundry, color my hair (It is too dark, so I got a couple of boxes of ultra light ash blonde and hope I can get it to a medium, lightish brown without what little I have left falling out.), have dishes to do ~ always, have to make lemon bars and a Granny cake to take tomorrow for the party and get everything packed. Also have a dulcimer to tune.
Saw the weather report and we are supposed to have freeing rain for our 3 hour trip tomorrrow. On our return trip, after we drop Lisa off, we will be picking up Logan, who has spent Spring break with his mother, who lives in the same town as my daughter. It is supposed to be nicer on Sunday.
Sheba is getting along with Cami but Tori will get into it with her and we generally have a cat fight early every morning. I am being over cuddly with Tori, but she really has her nose out-of-joint about this newcomer. She will just have to get over it.
I was hoping that the people who bought the house across the street would have a kid I could hire to let the dog out and feed them when I have to be away but it turns out it is a single gal and her dog. The other house across the street is also for sale as Carolyn is now moving in with her son. She should never have been living on her own for the last few years and she sure as heck should not be driving. I think the people at her church finally told the son this and he had no other choice than to do something. It is a small house, but has three bedrooms, so perhaps someone with kids will buy that one.
Better get going. Be back on Monday. Have a beautiful weekend!

I haven't mastered camera to computer but I found this picture of one of my most favorite and prolific flowers. I started with one bulb 30 yrs. ago from my precious aunt and have helped populate so many yards I have lost count. I love to share when I can. These are Crinum Lilies and spread from Florida many, many yrs. ago.
Some have as many as 12 blooms on 1 stalk. (This pic came from Photobucket)

Yesterday was a miracle. I had radiation in the morning and a doctor appointment in the afternoon. Doctor suggested two medications I should be on. Unfortunately, they are both expensive and my insurance covers some of the cost, but still not affordable. Office assistant put me on a program to help defray the cost. What a huge blessing!

Hello Everyone,
I feel I am in linbo? I do not know why the lord has allowed me extra time? I thought maybe I was to do some special deed or at least make a difference in some lives! I am beginning to think it was because our Lord is loving and caring and he has just spared me.
I have told the Dr's that I do not want to take any more resources from our young veterans. There are a lot of them and more coming home all the time.
I am going to continue doing all I can and enjoying life. What ever happens is his will now.
Love to All
Roy

Roy -- Wonderful to see you!! God is in charge of our time on earth. He has a plan. I, like you, was willing not to bother with treatments and medications. God wants me to go the full route. He made that clear to me.
I hope to touch some lives. I have opportunity to meet many new people -- people who are struggling and others with strong faith.

Roy, how do you determine that you not are doing good deeds and touching people. It angers me that you question why you are living. How I wish my precious sister who died from congestive heart failure at 52 had been given extra time. She would have rejoiced to God above for just another week!
If you are able, help people on here monetarily. I am desperate for extra money since the kids have moved in Think about others. I have worked all my life and given most of it away. think about it. Keep posting, keep helpng me. I learn from you.
You have so much to give and don;t even seem grateful!!! Janice

Jan -- I appreciate your prayers for me. Yes, Roy is a huge blessing to us!
Bill and I were youth ministers. A teenage boy wrote and told us you will never know who much you helped me. One day, we will know -- it is difficult for us to judge our own lives -- we do not know all -- God does.
Roxie -- What's happening? I know you will meet many new friends in Nevada. To be close to your son is wonderful!
DD-Shellie is a big help to us. She attends the doctor's appointments with Bill and I.
Lynn -- How are you doing? Your grandchildren are growing. What a delight grandchildren are!
Adrian -- I plan to take the Bible Quiz today.
Roy -- Bill and I belonged to a very legalistic church. They taught faith but practiced works -- many do's and don'ts -- not necessarily Biblically based. The Bible warns about following man's way and not God's way.
When Bill and I were young and strong, we thought we knew how to please God. However, when illness and age hit, we realize we are basically helpless without Him.
He can do more in 5 seconds than we can in a life-time! He uses us when, where, and how He pleases -- never mind our thoughts of what we should be doing.
Hope this is helpful.
