USAMA BIN LADEN IS DEAD.I heard this on Geraldo before the president's speech.His body is in the US. He was killed by a US bomb.

Hi Jan sweetie, it's truly a huge blessing to help people who need it, just like our Father does for us. His heart is compassionate and tender, ready, willing and able to do for us whatever we need. And He gives us His wonderful heart that we can do things that He provides for us to do. I just love it!

Good morning everyone!
Bin Laden is dead, which is a good thing. On the other hand, Al-Qaida has been operating without his guidance for some time and retaliation is likely. We need to pray for peace and that Al-Qaida will dissolve.
They just said on NBC that the US has tossed his body into the ocean. This is not a proper Islamic burial and I am hoping that this is an error as this could really bring trouble to us.

Rejoicing at the death of bin laden. He did have couriers that he led al quida with. He was in charge of them. May there be no one to replace him.

Lynn- I agree with you about fear of retaliation. For the families of those who have died because of his actions there must be a sense of closure. They attacked and killed our people.He was given a chance to surrender, he chose how it played out.Someone on tv just said he used a woman as a human shield.Their treatment of women is inhumane, imo.I now understand he was shot. Lynn, I hope you get your phone system all worked out.

Jan - I agree it was right to kill him. I believe it was his wife in front of him. What I think might cause problems was tossing his corpse in the ocean which is not the appropriate Muslim tradition. But, then again, he killed a lot of Muslims too.
FINALLY...The Frontier guy showed up earlier and after many calls back and forth to my current provider, all is changed over.
Today is going to be a really lazy day for me. Several of the lilies have now opened and should look decent when I take them over to the funeral home around 6pm. As it is three days, they will only look nicer and nicer. He was extremely well-known and well-liked and will have tons of flowers. Ike would have to go to the bus barn for something and they would get back into the good old days of racing and if anyone else was around, Gene would tell them the story about how he got the black flag for running another driver into the wall.
