Although God is a just God, I never want to forget these wonderful things about Him, being a sinner saved by grace myself.

"As I live", says the Lord GOD, "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die... " (from Ezekiel 33:11)

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9)

Hi Everyone, Think about this. Could it be the anti christ, the great destroyer, the great deceiver that is taking these wicked leaders out of the picture, to make it easy for him to come onto the seen, when the time is right for him?? I believe we are in the end days. Praise God. Jesus said he would come like a thief in the night. Keep watch and be ready.

I saw no reason for those people to be doing so much celebrating. I believe his death was warranted but I did not see the point in rejoicing.

I took my lilies over to the funeral home earlier and met up with the local florist who was unloading. There were so many arrangements and plants. We will probably go for visitation tomorrow evening.

Time to watch some TV and head to bed.

I forgot to add something. The Kaiser's are simply amazing. Cousin Ben, who is playing hammered dulcimer in the above video, is a senior at the University of Michigan. Here he is playing at a formal concert of the U of M Women's Glee Club. They only take the best.:-)

Are we living in:

None of the above.

Our present world is the result of sin.

We have cancer and illness; loss of jobs; loss of homes; wars; crime; broken homes; corruption; poverty; accidents; weather disasters ... to mention a few.

In this world, we are in a battle -- a spiritual battle. The enemy of our souls is seeking to deceive us, trip us up, and cause havoc.

If we aren't Christians, he seeks to keep us from repenting and turning to Christ.

If we are Christians, he seeks to destroy our joy and our witness.

How can we battle such a fierce enemy?

We cannot without the help of Jesus.

Pray without ceasing. Pray for everything.

Donna - The reason I do not actually rejoice in the execution of Osama is because of the consequences that could occur. I am glad he is gone. He will face the One True God and won't he be shocked?!

All the while they were saying he was living in some horrible conditions in the caves and tunnels in between Afghanistan & Pakistan, he has been living the high life in a luxury building in Pakistan.

I am hoping and praying that this will just all go away and there will be no problems but tossing him in the ocean might have annoyed many of the peaceful Islamic people.

Carole - I would like to be where you are. We still are using the pellet stove.
