autofill is filling in my ID name on the bid now blank,and also appearing on the top line of search

Auto fill is filling in my Ebay ID name on the top line for search for an item,and it also appears in the bid now slot where you put in a dollar bid---I have cleared cookies,and cache ,etc.I have checked my auto fill on chromebook--and everything is right--this has to be a Ebay tech glitch,or they are being hacked---I read on this thread about a bug---Ebay,what is going on.Very frustrating---why can't you answer phones far apart,or answer phones in different rooms,something should be in place for all this mess!!!!.If you are still operating a major business.No one around to fix anything,perfect storm for hackers.This is **bleep**!!!! Ever heard of working from home?Sign in glitches,nothing but problems.And no one to fix it.Thanks Ebay

Are you using Chrome? What version?

What are you doing (if anything) before that happens? Going to the main page, signing in, using a particular link, using a saved search, using a bookmark?

Do you notice the same problem in other browsers?

I have seen a couple of other messages indicating a similar problem, but no responses yet. If the problem is related to Chrome, you may be able to do something with the browser auto-fill settings, perhaps turn it off.

It has now mysteriously fixed itself.:) Happy again
