Ebay app for my Kindle Fire HD 10 no longer supported by Amazon since yesterday

Haven't been able to access the app on my kindle since yesterday. Message states this version of the app is no longer supported please update to the latest version. When attempted states external market is trying to open which is not available on device, continue to Amazon Appstore. Do that but no update available, I'm using the latest available version. Any suggestions bar using the desktop site?

There is a third-party app called "Fullscreen Desktop for eBay" or "Fullscreen Tablet for eBay" that is available for some Android devices -- I do not know if it works with the Kindle Fire, though. Might be worth a look, if you are not satisfied with using the desktop or mobile site version of eBay in a browser.
