This site can’t be reached
cgi6 . ebaystores . com’s server IP address could not be found.

Yes, others are having problems with broken links.
The problem may be related to using an old store template.

Well I tried changing the theme but the end result is the same. The issue is that the sture YRL is indeed http and not https so it will not display because insecure. I see no way how to change that in ebay as the linki is generated by itself or am I missing something. I find this rather odd as ebay demands that any images we use are secure but they themselves use insecure pages? So althoughb the cause is determined, I still see no solution or is ebay forcing us to use 3rd party templates?

I'm having a similar issue. I land on my store page just fine, but trying to do search or click categories gets the error. The reason I list on eBay and pay these absurd sales fees is so I can have access to customers on this site and not have to maintain a website myself to get them. How can I fix this??

Same thing here. I can get to the store but as soon as I click on anything or try to search, it says "We can't connect to the server at cgi6.ebaystores.com." I noticed it for the first time yesterday. It's happening on Chrome and Firefox (on a Windows 10 machine.) The address bar shows the link is insecure but it's eBay's link. How do I have control over that??

Seems to be a sitewide issue with the category redirect on legacy stores.
Other legacy store owners are reporting the same issue.

cgi6.ebaystores.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewStoreV4&name=str&_rdc=1
And I get this when I use the categories on the left. I get into the store fine. Click onto a listing I get above and blank page. This is frustrating Ebay! Come on. Fix It!

Getting the same error when I try to search my store categories, or type a word into my search bar on my store page. I first noticed it this evening.

Same here..... searching my store or using one of the categories lands me on a "can't find the server" message.

Thank you for the tag @mcdougle4248!
The tech team is aware that there have been some issues that have surfaced with people using the old stores experience (sometimes called legacy).
The way to determine what kind of store you have is to check the URL when you go to the store. New stores have the following format: https://www.ebay.com/str/StoreName when accessing them from the blue door or from the 'Visit store' links on item pages. If your URL for your store is not in this format, your store is not in the new format and would be considered a legacy store.
This is not a bug, but is instead a result of the legacy store code which will eventually be deprecated. The way to resolve these issues is to go to https://pages.ebay.com/storefronts/update/ and upgrade your store to the current experience. I understand this still may be frustrating, as we did not require a migration earlier, but this is the current option to resume full access to the stores experience without these issues.

I went to the link you provided to update my store. I do not have the option to Update store under the Marketing tab in Seller Hub. Now what can I do?
It seems there are two different URL's going to my store. This one works:
This one does not work:

Hi mcdougle4248, if you go to the seller hub and rather than looking at the drop down under marketing, click on marketing. That will take you to a page that says, "Manage your marketing activity". Directly under that, it should be your store name, the Http address, and then under that it should have a link that says, "update your store today".
I've not updated my store yet, because I want to make sure things are going to be saved as I want them to be, before committing to the change.
This "update your store today" link however, should take you to the point where you need to go to update. Should you update before I do, please respond back with how the transition to the new format went and if you are happy with the changes.
