When I send a response to an ebay buyer email from my android phone sometimes (aprox %50 of the emails) are delivered to the customer blank . I have a Gmail account . When I log into the email account from a browser I can see the message was sent from the Gmail server but when i log into ebays my messages and reviw the sent folder I see the response there but none of the text from my response . I have not had the problem when I send the email from my outlook program. Has anyone else had this issue ?

Yes!
We have been seeing this problem from about 14.04.15. We use a third party email tool which we have used for about 5 years to respond to our customer emails / messages.
I have spoken to eBay on numerous occasions about this, all of which have been a waste of time. The issue seems to be in the content of the email that eBay includes in customer correspondence. There is something in there that when included in your reply email to the customer, makes eBay remove everything from the email!
When we copy a customer's email into notepad, then copy it back into our eMail tool, then reply to the customer query and send it, the email seems to go through ok. eBay will not admit that this is a problem at their end, and will only support eBay messages... Useless if you have any kind of email volume to manage and work through.
Has anyone come across / worked out a more elegant solution?

I've been having a related problem except that the source of the blank email is ebay itself, as in ebay@reply.ebay.com -The latest such email has the subject: "Run, don't walk to these Wednesday bargains".
I have been getting blank emails from them for some time now and yes the problem is on their end. They are filtering out their own content.
