hi. I found two baseballs while cleaning out my grandmother's things. I'm having a hard time reading the signatures. Can someone help. It would nice to figure out who and what team these are from. Thank you.

Re: Need help with old autographed baseballs by please

Looking at the first two photos.  At first I thought the 1st photo had Bob Horner who played for the Braves and one year with the Cardinals.  When I looked up his autograph it's not even close.  Then looking at the second photo (same ball - Correct?) I saw Ludwig.  There has only been one Ludwig in the MLB, William "Bill" Ludwig.  He played ONE year, 1926.  He did play 11 years in the minor leagues.  Then I noticed Vandy in 2nd photo.  So now I'm guessing this was maybe a Vanderbilt college ball rather then one signed by major league players.

The second ball (photos 3-5) I don't even have a guess.  I can read Moose something in photo 4.  I looked up players with the name/nickname of Moose, but none of them matched the Kr the last name starts with.

Sorry, I'm going to guess these are both college balls

Try going to this site, click on the team names and see if you can find some of the other players names on the rosters, I found Lou Urcho here

Read the policys for antique items on ebay. I also learned a lot from there.
