Hi I contacted the seller about a 60" Folding Truck Car Cargo Carrier Basket Luggage Rack Hitch Hauler 2" Receiver I bought from him because he had falsy advertised his product immedatly after my purches. As soon as I got the carrier the paint kept chiping off, then we had a little rain and the carrier rusted reall bad. Here on the product is says it is rust resistant because the paint is to protect it from rusting. Well all of that was false. Anyway I wrote a bad reveiw because the carrier was not what he said it was and I wanted people not to get scammed like I did. When he contacted me back he said, if I removed my review statement on Ebay he would only give me back $20 dollars and I can just paint it, but if I did not remove my review then he would not give me any money back. I could not believe it! We went back and forth on this in email conversations. I was like why would I remove my review if it was true about the produect because of what they were saying in advertising is false? We had emails going back and forth all this time and the product was mailed to me in Sept. Please look into my emails and look into this seller.
I would like my money back
Thanks so much

You are saying the advertising stated "rust resistant because the paint is to protect it from rusting". That, in itself, is not false. The problem is the quality control, on the one you got, may not be good because the paint was chipping off and because of that it rusted. This may have been an isolated instance; maybe the one you got was bad but that doesn't mean all of them are bad and saying paint protects from rust is not false.
You said "As soon as I got the carrier the paint kept chiping off." If you were concerned about the chipping paint you should have returned it or asked for a partial refund right away.
I don't how long you had this product before you complained but If you gave a bad review before contacting him, then maybe removing the review and accepting the $20 is fair.

If you bought the item in sept, you are past ebays thirty day money back guarantee for snad..had you filed, the seller would have been responsible to pay the return shipping on the item. But you can still file a not as described complaint at PP, you have 180 days there, but you will be responsible for return shipping..never let a seller string you along like this.
