Good morning!
Thanks in advance - I have a pretty heavy thick leather item stamped inside
"SLING-EZE, ARM CUFF, B.L. MEYERS, DALLAS, TEXAS".
I'd think that was enough to identify it - but it's not.
I was thinking it's a medical device, then kinda thinking it might be for protecting an arm while shooting.
tried it on my arm several ways - nothing feels right.
Any tips much appreciated!

Here is a site with a pic of a similar cuff, there is another piece that attaches for target shooting. The pic is halfway down and the article talks about how it's used. https://gundigest.com/more/how-to/rifle-shooting-basics-loop-sling

My first thought was an archery arm guard, but it's too short for that. An archery guard needs to cover the forearm. (bow slaps hurt!)

It's a target rifle sling

Well, YOU are awesome!
There is a square ring with nothing attached, that would be where the strap went.
THANK YOU!
