fish slicer marks
thistle design on fish slicer
I believe this is a Scottish Fish Slicer because of the engraved Thistle on the top of the slicer. However I have not been able to identify the maker or determine if sterling or plate (probably plate). The marks are hard to read but I think the first may be a Prince of Wales Feather symbol, the second maybe a man on a horse?, the third maybe a crown or a castle?, the forth maybe a ship or a gothic "D"?, and the makers marks maybe 2 "N"s. Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated. This is from an estate with a very interesting Provenance.
