time frame on voided label

I had to void a priority label on 12/4/2020 because a buyer requested to cancel right after I packaged and shipped it.  I have not received a refund yet.  Does anyone know how many days it is taking for this?  Usually it is a week or so.

I've had the experience of about 14-20 business days, if I remember correctly.

If you shipped the package there is no refund on the label.  Did you execute a Package Intercept to get the package back?

Shipped as in had it in the mailbox and removed it before the mail came (lucky).  Voided it, did not mail.  Sorry for the confusion. @no_zero369

It says void accepted on my shipping labels page, but have not received the money back yet.  It was quite pricey (FR large box).

Currently EVERYTHING is behind at USPS. EVERYTHING PERIOD. It will take much more time so keep all of your records and try to remain patient. Don't give up but realize this will be a long while. Best of luck to you....

I will watch for an email notice because I have never had a void with managed payments.  I assume it will show on a payout, but you know what they say about "assume".

It can be 14 days or more. May likely be refunded already but it shows up in PayPal. Sign in there and check. Let us know

No, not showing in managed payments or in PayPal yet.  I will keep checking.  I might be back here with more questions if this isn't resolved soon.

I'm sure voids will process much slower until USPS gets their system going again. They don't want to refund all those unscanned packages that have been sitting in trailers for the last three weeks.

Getting a refund on a voided label is very common and rarely, if ever, an issue. I void sometimes a few a week. Refund will come through for label as long as not used in any way or scanned at USPS

@pooh333piglet  Voided 12/4, still nothing 12/30.  No email, no credit through PayPal or MP.   What do I do if a credit is not received soon?  I didn't see anything on the USPS site for this issue.

Honestly I dont know. I dont think it's ever happened to me in all my crazy years mailing. Unless 1 slipped by me.

I always watch for the larger dollar amount refunds. If a few $ from 1st class mail then I'm not as concerned but I do see those come through. 

Maybe it does just need more time due to all the USPS scans and delivery issues going on.
