Re: specifics

Hi @mitchelltopshop ,

Very good questions.  For the Shipping details section of the listing form you include the weight of the item AND the box and all packaging ... same for dimensions, you want the outside dimensions of the box.  THAT is what your label cost will be based on.

Re: specifics

Absolutely inside the box

Please use the standard measured boxes for less postage cost for example

6 inch by 6 inch by 6 inch is standard box size. You could lookup the other standard box sizes

Re: specifics

I also like  to use the cube boxes.my favorite is 5x5x5

with 2 sheets of newspaper and a watch head and 000 jiffy bag I am up to maybe 6 ounces

you can just skip the sizes when you make a label for 1st class

all my packages are under 16 ounces so its sort of standardized for me

shipping in a long box because of a watch box throws it all off.

keep the scale handy and then its fast with a label

small customs form and 3 rows of tape is 0.15 ounces

the full customs form or long form and the mylar sleeve it goes in can weigh up to a half ounce

Re: specifics

In your description and item specifics you give the size of the item you are selling.  In the shipping section, you enter the total size/weight of the item plus the shipping packaging.
