so when i go to finish a shipping label i keep getting a warning for ups limit of 9lb 6oz

so i ship big stuff often well its not that big 12x12x18 same box i use often. so today with all my ups shipments i get this and i know that the limit is 150 lbs and no where close. also right before you click and pay it says max weight 150lbs max length 108 in and max demensions 165 in. i ship heavy stuff daily and never had this message and a warning of extra fees.

UPS® Ground service limits

Max Weight
Up to 9 lb 6 oz
Max Length
Up to 108 in (longest dimension of your package)
Max Dimensions
Up to 165 in (length + girth)

but in the info for shipment its all correct its  only 20lbs in a 12x12x18 box

whats going on here. im thinking its just a glitch

I'm getting the same popup window and message/warning today as well. eBay support was useless, but it sounds like we're not the only ones getting it.

Can one of you post a screenshot?

I'm interested to know if the warning of extra fees is eBay finally attempting to do something to alert sellers about dimensional weight.

I doubt that since the minimum dimensional weight is over 10lbs for an empty 12" sided box.

Pretty sure it's just eBay not working as usual, they wouldn't be that clever to put such a hard stop in.

gotta be a glitch maybe eBay's warning system is incorrect info but with usps i think we should be good i called ups.

i noticed something new today to. so when i purchase a label, it always went to the print screen and not have to click "print label". now i got to open it up differently. look a little different.

Same here - it's a smallish 12 pound box, and when I try to print the label I get the same 9 pound 6 oz warning???

i have the same error.  would normally skip through it but that $1000 threat of a charge brings pause.  knowing ebay's cryptic policy and appeals process, they really would stick that to us when it makes no sense.

Getting the same message and thought the same thing.  Would just f it and go with FedEx or UPS but UPS is 25% cheaper to the buyer's destination.

Got the same message I think Ebay screwed something up with the oz and lbs.

Thought 9lbs 6oz was kind of random but...

9lbs 6oz = 150oz.

UPS ground weight limit says its 150lbs so thinking thats the issue?

I wouldnt worry about it. You have the information correctly provided by UPS and even if eBay is incorrectly displaying it they are not the shipper. Just print as normal. Thats what im doing.
