What is the cheapest way to ship from Tennessee to California? The item is a statue approximately 12 inches tall.

What packaging are you using? What are the dimensions of the packaging? What does the item weigh in the packaging?
Just saying it’s 12 inches tall isn’t enough of a reference.

USPS, UPS and FedEx all have online shipping calculators that you can use to figure what shipping would cost to compare between the 3. That is something you need to do, not something we should need to help you with, esp. given the lack of information about the package.

I don't see a statue among your Solds, so it's hard to advise without more info. Is it light enough to go USPS GA?

It's extremely unlikely that a 12-inch statue would weigh more than 70 pounds, so I think GA (i.e., USPS Ground Advantage) would be the best choice.
I also think that a person who asks such a basic question should stick with USPS options, and not try to deal with the potential nuances and surcharges of using FedEx or UPS.

I think it's this item, which was ended last night, although it doesn't state the item's height. Shipping is via FedEx Ground (!). It's a relisting of an auction that ended on December 4 which offered Priority Mail calculated for a package weighing 15 pounds, which is probably a dimensional weight. Shipping to CA shows a retail Priority price of $70.60; Ground Advantage would be $45.90 retail and $24.19 through eBay.
I suspect that the OP thinks that shipping cost might be an obstacle to getting bids, or perhaps a potential bidder challenged the cost. This seems to be a fragile ceramic item which of course should be double-boxed but even so it probably could ship at a volume that doesn't incur the dreaded "dimensional weight."

Good catch! When I read 'statue', I thought of a much heavier piece. For that figurine, I'd think the OP could safely go Ground Advantage.

Thanks, I didn't see it when I looked at current listings.
