shipping delay

I thought I posted this earlier but I don't see it anywhere.  

Has anyone had an issue with Ebay shipping delay after authentication.  I had a sports card authenticated and label created to buyer last week Thursday;  tracking does not indicate that it's moved from the authenticator since then; says

   Conversation with an Ebay agent yesterday said the pkg is still waiting to be picked up from Ebay.  As a seller on Ebay, I don't think holding a pkg for a week (or possibly longer) is an acceptable way for Ebay to treat sellers.  I know it's not my fault and there's not really anything I can do about it, but it's still a reflection as a seller.   Ebay holds sellers to such high standards, what about their own?

It's in the "Ask Mentor" forum. You are currently in shipping forum so it's not in this forum.

Unfortunately it's considered "still waiting to be picked up" You have to wait. Sometimes packages take 2-3 weeks to get to a destination. Anything could be a reason for a delay.

Thanks for the reply, but that doesn't make sense to me.  The pkg isn't moving, it's sitting at the Ebay authentication office waiting for USPS or UPS to pick it up.  I understand if there's weather or a holiday or some other cause for delay but to just sit there??   I've had an Ebay standard envelope take a few weeks to reach a destination but never a USPS Ground Advantage pkg, not without cause.

Yeah, that's absolutely not right. I'm pretty sure they're supposed to ship out using UPS or FE 2 day service. That's how the one I've done was sent, but mine went to the CA center so maybe it's different in NJ. Still shouldn't be sitting around either way.

Naturally eBay's CS was useless, maybe try contacting them through Facebook. Might also try calling PSA directly, but I doubt that will do anything since it's technically eBay's order.
