shipping boxes

Can I use a Walmart Box to ship an item to a buyer? or Should I wrap it brown paper so it appears as a normal box?

Thanks

Isn't that name and address shown on the return address on your shipping label anyway?

Re: shipping boxes

As an alcohol store employee...do not use any boxes alcohol came in for mailing out unless you know which states you can mail to and from...period. This includes boxes with just the words wine glasses...or anything alcohol related on the box. There are still states under the prohibition (1930's) for mailing alcohol from one state to another.

Using a black marker to mark out writings on a box...well, are you going to mark out an alcohol bottle also on the box?

Living in San Francisco, we reuse everything.....a couple brown paper bags will do over a box.

Would I get upset if the box saids Walmart or Amazon....nope...I just want my item.

FedEx and UPS will not accept boxes that are wrapped in paper. USPS strongly discourages it, admitting that paper often gets caught up in their machinery and torn off the package.

Re: shipping boxes

I use a po box for ebay sales.    The buyer gets a used amazon padded envelop without my name/address. Heck I even cut out the barcodes/tracking #.
