eBay doesn't ship anything; the seller does. For an item that heavy you're looking at a freight shipment. Freight shipping cannot be purchased through eBay labels.
This page is a good reference for freight shipping on eBay and links to a list of freight carriers whose tracking integrates with eBay: https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/shipping/shipping-on-ebay/freight-shipping
Research your options. You should speak with the carrier to determine if they offer packing services or if you need to handle that yourself, if they have a lift gate for residential delivery, what their insurance coverage is, do they have online viewable signature confirmation for delivery, what happens if the buyer refuses delivery for some reason, etc. Cover all your bases before diving in.
Keep in mind the risk factor. If a buyer files a claim (whether a true claim or a false claim), you're on the financial hook to deal with that. Some items are best sold with the Local Pickup Only option.
Many sellers use freight shipping quite successfully. If you jump in, do it with your eyes wide open. Learn all the potential outcomes before going that route.

eBay doesn’t ship anything, eBay provides services for sellers to choose from.
If the item you are looking to ship weighs that much you will need to look into freight services that ships heavy items or chose local pick up only.

When shipping items requiring a Freight Company, also known as LTL (Less than truckload) shipping, you will face a learning curve. Costs will be based on whether you have a loading dock, how what the item weighs, how it is packed - on pallet or not, distance, whether the recipient has a loading dock, whether the delivery is outside the destination or inside.
Buyers will balk if you have not paid for "inside delivery". Might refuse the shipment and will probably get a refund because the order was not delivered, you are opening the door to more potential problems than the average sellers face.
If large products are your business, you can have good reason to become an expert, and develop the skills to deal with the challenges.
If it a one-shot deal, local pickup on Ebay or selling on Craigslist might be better.

As others have explained, eBay doesn't ship anything. The seller chooses a carrier to ship his sold item.
However, unless your 18# item is very, very rare, the shipping cost will be exorbitant and you also need to keep in mind that, if the buyer opens an item not as described, you, the seller, will be on the hook for the return freight.
There are certain items that are much better suited to local pickup only or even possibly other more local venues should be explored.
