selling

I have items to sell that are not worth tracking or will fit in an envelope. How do I ship them.

@pa-243069

Will they fit in a #6 or a #10 envelope?

Or are you talking about a padded envelope?

And what kinds of small things do you mean?

Re: selling

If you sell stuff which can go into a bubble mailer or a box tracking is automatically included. It is always wise to have tracking on an item. If an item has low value you might want to reconsider selling that item and understand ebay fees before selling a lower end item which could potentially cost a tad in shipping cost Ebay charges for item + shipping + sales tax. Those three charges can add up and if an item isn't worth much it could cost you more than it's worth selling the item here.

Re: selling

1. If I were you I would  simply go to  fixed price shopping w/NO best offer. .Your auction w/buy it now option invites the lowest  prices sales.

2.  If you have no tracking info you are inviting  a scammer-  all the buyer has to do is  claim Item Not  Received and  the get  the item for free - yep people like to get  stuff for  free. by any means - welcome to 2025 - integrity  is  a fading characteristic....

3. Try  finding  items to sell that  are must haves vs. would like to haves - we  are going into  a time of spending - Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, property tax due,, funds for next semesters tuition and MY Birthday - 1hr  & 20 minutes  after Christmas - all I ever wanted was one banana creme pie made by my late Mom - would not share a single bite (except with my children and better half -  one bite each..

Re: selling

As far as I'm concerned every order is worth tracking, It's one of the only solid piece of evidence that you have showing your order was delivered, You may not think it worthy due to the $ amount, But to avoid an INR it's worth it!

Re: selling

If they will not fit in an envelope, and they are not worth tracking, then they probably are not worth shipping. I would suggest you sell them as one big lot. Or don't sell them at all. Not worth the hassle. You will end up with countless INR  and your account restricted.

If you think someone will buy them, then include tracking and the actual shipping cost. If that makes the item too expensive for anyone to buy it then as I said, it is not worth selling.

Re: selling

Not worth selling here it sounds like.   Why risk bad feedback for so little?

Re: selling

Thanks for replying, but I primarily deal in HO train items.  I am trying to sell decals.  Most people would buy only 1 or 2 sheets @$1 a sheet, not worth tracking, often a hard to find item.  If you want to scam me for $1 or $2  and never buy from me again, be my guest.   I am retired and doing this as a service not to get rich.   I am not interested in debating.  My question is if I put a decal in an envelope and just mail it how do I indicate to ebay that I did so?
