returned item

I printed off the label thru ebay and returned an item, the seller contacted me via personal email and stated I didnt send it to the correct address he gave me in an email message via ebay  which i did not see.

The item was undeliverable. He has now sent me a personal email stating to send it to a different address when I get the item back.  then he will refund my money.  I feel like I am being scammed as the item was advertised as authentic, however, using the EBAY gucci belt how to tell ifs its a fake or not, I detemined it was a fake. Now he has given me  3 different address to send it too, one via the shipping label, one via the ebay message and now one thru personal email.

I always though we had to use the shipping lable provide thru ebay.   what do i do?

Personally I would call ebay and report what's happening..........he could be trying to drag it out......and then claim you didn't return it.

Don't ever correspond with a customer through email.

Any email you get respondonly with "contact me through ebay messages"

Ignore, ignore, ignore. Once you open a return you need to do everything through the resolution or you could lose this.

I’m assuming from what you said that you opened a return, it was granted, eBay provided a label and you used it. So far you have done everything to the letter.

You need to call eBay and tell then to look at the tracking where it states undeliverable. It is the seller's responsibility to provide eBay with the correct return address. eBay will close the case in your favor and you will get a refund.

After you get the refund, if the package gets returned to you then you can tell the seller to send you a label with the correct address.

Just to emphasize this point ... do not pay for postage and expect to be reimbursed.  Only return if the seller sends you a shipping label that he paid for.
