Did you mean:

return to user "who is no longer registered"

so i bought a sodastream maker that i finally received and its leaking co2. I was able to set up a return but i noticed the person is "no longer a registered user" and the "item was removed"

Should i still send this back for a refund? will i get my money back?

I dont see how you can even send it to someone who isnt an ebay user anymore...

i paid with a credit card not my paypal so i cant request a refund there.

Re: return to user "who is no longer registered"

I would go straight to the credit card and do a chargeback with them.

You stated that you were able to set up the return.

Did you do so by opening a case for an item-not-as-described?  If so, did you receive a return shipping label?

If you received the return shipping label — via eBay — then you should continue with the case for the return of the item-not-as-described.  Completing the return using the eBay Money-Back Guarantee, you will receive your refund. If you go outside this process then you may not receive your refund.

Keep in mind that you received the item.  If you do not complete the return via the eBay Money-Back Guarantee process now, but rather proceed with a credit card charge-back as stated by @myboardid, then the charge-back could be denied.  Opting for the credit card charge-back, eBay would be notified and you would not be able to use the eBay Money-Back Guarantee after that.  In the end, opting for a charge-back, rather than completing the eBay Money-Back Guarantee process, could result in your not getting a refund.

Go to the PayPal payment. State that the seller is now NARU on eBay. You will be refunded.

If eBay sent you the return label use it. I'm sure that eBay was well aware that the seller was NARU when they sent it.

You are making this much more difficult than it needs to be.

Then, complete the return of the item so that you can receive your refund using eBay’s Money Back Guarantee.  Keep in mind that there is a time limit for shipping the item.  Do your part (shipping the defective item) and eBay will do its part (refund your money).
